Hello again, lovelies. Happy Saturday!
I’m joining Seductive Studs and Sirens again this week…except I’m a bit late. This should have been posted at midnight, but, well, life happened. Better late than never, I suppose. *shrug*
Last week I shared the pictures of T and C and posted a snippet of conversation between them from my Love’s Landscapes story. Click here for sexy pics and amusing banter.
I don’t want to continue that conversation as I think that would give too much away right now. So I’m going to backtrack a bit to when C (a lonely rancher) and T (a lively, pretty housekeeper) meet and C is considering hiring T. C has just asked if he can contact T’s former employers for references to see what they would have to say about his work ethic and such, and T tried to play it off with a joke before realizing that C wasn’t enjoying his humor. He insists that his former employers will have good things to say about him. This is C’s response:
“Things like how well you did the work, not about how you’re a flaming gay man?”
T stuttered, “I – I’m not – I mean, I am but –” He took a deep breath and said in a steady voice, “My sexuality has nothing to do with my ability to clean your house. In fact, as a gay man, I am, by reputation at least, far more qualified to do this job than any straight man.”
“I wasn’t trying to offend. I was just inquiring as to what sort of comments your former employers might have about you,” C responded. Most people didn’t understand his gruffness. Then he added, “And I’m gay too, if that makes you feel any better.”
“Really?” T blinked in surprise, looking him up and down. “No way you’re gay. I mean, that is a fine chest, but those jeans… No self-respecting gay man I ever met would be caught dead in jeans like those.”
He couldn’t help but chuckle at that. “What do you expect a gay cowboy to wear? Assless chaps and a rainbow flag?” He likes my chest, he thought with a touch of excitement at the idea.
